The Seven Gods are the dominant pantheon of Shadow Slave. Their names are revealed in chapter 372 ('Names of the Gods') and the seventh in chapter 1571 ('Seventh God').

- Sun God — Lord of Light. Fire, passion, creation, destruction.
- War God — Life, progress, technology, craft, intellect. Patron of humanity. His avatar (the Dragon) was slain by Eurys.
- Storm God — Depths, oceans, darkness, stars, travel, guidance, disaster.
- Beast God — Beasts and the wild.
- Heart God — Heart and emotions.
- Shadow God — Peace, death, solace, mysteries. His relic: the Shadow Lantern.
- Forgotten God (formerly Dream God) — Dreams, nightmares, restoration, imagination, oblivion, fate. The seventh, erased from memory.
Hierarchy
They come from the -unknown- lineage but stand distinct. At least one (the Seventh) fell and birthed the Seven Daemons by shattering into seven fragments.
The Doom War
The Daemons and their human allies (the Nine) waged the Doom War against the gods. The War God was absent (avatar slain), but the others fought. The outcome: a broken equilibrium and a world marked forever.
