The Lord of Hunger is a cosmic entity invoked from Vol 7 onward. Its exact nature remains a narrative mystery. It embodies hunger in the cosmic sense: the devouring need that consumes everything in its path.
Hypothetical Status
Two possible readings: - Hypothesis A: The Lord of Hunger is one of the -unknown- (Old Ones), a primordial presence. - Hypothesis B: It is an emanation or avatar of a cosmic force distinct from gods and daemons.
Threat
A recurring threat in the volumes following the Third Nightmare. Several secondary characters (sybils, priestesses) cite it as the greatest threat after the pantheon's collapse.
Note
Canonical details are deliberately sparse: Guiltythree (the author) builds the Lord of Hunger's cosmic horror through allusion, preserving the mystery into the still-being-written final volumes.
