The Great River is a vast cosmic river running through the Dream Realm. It is the main artery of Vol 7 (Third Nightmare).

- Ananke — priestess of the Spell met on the river, descendant of Weaver's sorcerers

Narrative Role
The Great River is the channel through which Sunny learns the true cosmology of the world: the Seven Gods, the Daemons, the Forgotten God, the Doom War. Ananke reveals more cosmic knowledge there than any character before her.
Symbolism
The river is a boundary: between living and dead, between Daemons' domains, between hidden and revealed knowledge. To cross it is a cosmic initiation.
