Beyond the Great Clans, several trans-Citadel factions structure the Awakened world.
Awakened Society
Official organization federating and regulating Awakened: registration, evaluation, sanctioned missions. Equivalent of a military and administrative order at once.
Sleeper Society
Counter-organization of Sleepers (low-rank Awakened) — less powerful but more numerous, often in tension with dominant Clans.
Saintdom
Quasi-religious faction organized around Saints — Awakened with healing, divinatory vocations, or claiming a divine connection. Saint Tyris, Sunny's commercial ally in Vol 3, comes from this faction.
Knights of the Crucible
Martial order associated with a crucible (the Crucible — possibly the Valor Clan's Aspect Legacy). Strict code of honor, oaths bound to their Aspect.
Narrative Importance
These factions often serve as backdrop. They become Sunny's allies or adversaries depending on the volume (notably in his commerce under the Mongrel name).
